the car looked better in gloss I thought...

then again he had rust problems...

and many beetle owners in Australia paint them with flat black...

Hardest part was breaking into the disused warehouse...  lol...

He did do a great job with the masking though....

I've seen a beetle over here with each panel/fender etc painted a different color..
Why You would want to do that I'm not sure...
I'm sure spray cans were not used on this beetle...
 
maybe He owns a spray painting business and used leftovers...  lol
 
but if You used spray cans, You could change the colors each week..  lol...
