Great looking car! one question though whats the box under the dash?  Part of a stereo system or something. Just wondering as I haven't seen that on the later Super that a buddy of mine has.

It's the speaker....part of the old Pioneer radio/cassette she installed way back. Still works fine, I just don't have any cassettes anymore. I may have some 8-Tracks around though

She runs fine. Had to go about 45 miles on the I-10 fwy. yesterday and she held steady, no shimmies, and relatively smooth ride considering the age of the car. I didn't go over 70, so I was getting the usual dirty looks from the BMW and SUV drivers ( screw 'em).  This week I want to get an oil change and valve adjustment; I think the timing may be off just a wee bit.

I know! That paint job is already 5 yrs. old, looks brand new. All the rubber and moldings are new as well. I have the receipt for the paint/upholstery work: $7,000!
