In reading the article about valve adjustment it says that the notch on the distributor will be at about the 4 oclock position and the notch on the main pulley will be lined up with the engine seam for the #1 TDC. On my engine the notch on the distributor is at the 11 or 12 oclock position, is this right or was it installed wrong?
mine is in the 2 position. I just go with it. An SVDA is in my future and will hopefully have the notch in the conventional place.
