Today I had the worst experience. As I was driving to my friends, I was turning a corner, and as I pushed in my clutch, the cable snapped.  I was not a happy.  Luckily he only lived half a block away, so I had him give me a tow home.  Now I have my cable out, and cip1.ca doesn't have the cable I need in stock. I try to see if I can find a cable locally, if not I guess I'll have to wait till they get one in stock again before I can drive my bug again.

I carry a spare clutch and throttle cable in my Super that I got right from a VW dealer.

Thanks, I actually got a cable today from Piston Ring in Winnipeg, and it was the right one!  And so far it seems to be working fine.
