Picked up my first super it's a '72.
I look forward to fixing it up.
Currently working on the brakes, the PO had new shoes put on, but I still
had to pump the brake to get pedal, midas fawked up the brake job,
still no pedal so I adjusted the brakes, no leaks, swapped the rusty MC.
Now I just gota bleed the system, and replace a gasket under the carb (fuel leak).  Then hopefully it'll be road worthy again.

Thanks.

Yeah the car is pretty solid, it's got a couple tiny rust spots on the top near the drip rails.  The only major rust spot is in the rear of the front right wheel well.  It's about an 1" high and about 5 - 6" long, should be pretty easy to repair, I hope, LOL.  I'll probably cut it out and have a patch welded in.  The heater channels heck even the jack mounts are solid.  Oh the front has been lowered and the front ?valance?  has scrubbed a curb a coupel times.  It really sits to low, I need to raise it an 1" or so just need to get a spring compressor first.  Things to do and many hours before I sleep, LOL.

My plan is to strip it down, clean it up, and have it repainted.  Then work on the interior, and finally stuff the new motor in.  Should keep me busy for awhile.  I plan on doing as much of my own work as my abilities will allow.
I'll keep posting here as I update it.

Thanks for the comments!
I'm pretty happy with it.
I'm continually suprised at how well it runs considering the look of
the motor.  Looks as though it's never been cared for.
But it'll pull in every gear, and I easily hang with freeway traffic here
in San Diego.  Actually I'm usually passing everyone.
