I installed an Empi short-throw shifter kit in my bug , but was in a hurry to get it in storage for the winter.  I lost the little slip of paper with the diagram and instructions on it, and after installing my carpet kit was having difficulties getting the kit installed correctly (so it wouldn't  accidentally go into reverse without pushing down).  Anybody have a set of the instructions they could share with me so I can troubleshoot it?
Thanks in advance,
John Scribner

I emailed Empi for a copy of the instructions but they never responded. Bad Empi!

Wayne- me, too

Marc-  Thanks a lot!  Exactly what I needed and then some.  I should be able to get mine adjusted with those great instructions and pictures.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

It's funny how they will take your money for the product but don't want to have anything to do with you after the fact

That is what separates the good from the bad.

I owe Empi an apology. They sent a copy of the instructions via email to me today. Thanks Empi!

Hmmm... these aren't the same instructions I remember from the short-throw kit I installed. These seem like the instructions for a shifter.  Maybe I'll rE-mail them again.  Nice of them to respond to your request, anyway.
