Looking for instructions on how to set dwell on a 73SB all the manuals

I have show timing but none go in to the dwell instructions.

Anybody have a Web site or personal instructions...........?  

 

PS. got my dwell meter from EBay last week but been hunting...

get you a book , "called how to keep your volkswagen alive. a manula of step by step procedures for the complete idiot" it is excellent it will tell you about any thing and everything. here is a shortcut to find it .

good luck, look on page page 106 "check the point setting with a dwell-tach meter.

Its easy, The dwell meter has two wires. They hook up the same way as a tach. Black to ground and red to negative side of the coil.

Take the cap and rotor off. Have someone crank the engine or use a remote starter switch. Adjust the points with a screwdriver. After you get them set put the cap and rotor back on and recheck.

If you got a good multimeter all you have to do then is flip the switch to tach and your in business to timing and your carb.
