Did you check out the article on carbs in High Performance 101? It's on link from the homepage or from the Tech Link at the top of the pages.

You'd be happier with a set of 40 IDF Webers.  --Ryan

Sure Dual IDF 40 is better but out of my budget actually, i need a good dual carb that works good with the bosch 009 Too,

i see most of you guys are running Dual Solex than Dual Webers, so does that means that adjusting dual solex is easier?or does they perform better than ther webers?

Sorry to say, but it means they are cheaper.  Dual 2bbls are much easier to setup and tune.  --Ryan

i understand,
so what do you think of those EMPI dual 2bbl being sold on CIP1 ,why they are cheaper than DUAL IDF weber, cheaper with around 400$

empi idf clone is 500$Weber IDF is 900$

People have reported major problems with the EMPI knock offs of the IDFs.  Even if they fix all the machining errors and such, the fact that people are seeing accelerated wear in the throttle shafts is something to think about.  The only fix for that is new, real, Weber throttle shafts and then have the shaft bores bushed.  The end result is more expensive than just getting a 'real' set to start with.  My honest opinion is that it's best to just save your money and get a good set of carbs.  You'll be happier in the long run, especially if you have plans to ever do a larger engine.  --Ryan

1-Dual Kardons 40mm
2-Dual Solex 35mm
4-Dual Weber ICT 34mm

Re-read my post,,, my advice is to wait and save your money up.  It's not like you're going to be seeing and significant gains on a stock engine.  With no 'real' mods, duals are mostly for looks.  I really don't believe them to be cost effective until you start doing other mods, like cam, displacement, heads and so on.  If you do all the 'magazine' bolt ons that you read about, but never make any real changes to the engine, then 10 hp is about the most you'll see.  Hardly worth the thousand or so buck you'll spend to achieve it.  Save a few more bucks, do it right and you'll be happier.  --Ryan
