I bought a couple of rear seat securing bolts and seat belts bolts.
And now find that I need to tap the holes out because they have accumulated considerable rust and am unable to screw in the new bolts, but am not sure

Of the size of the bolts for either the rear seat securing or seat belt bolt.

Wondering if anyone might be know h the size the tap needed and thread size on these.

I bought them for my 1979 CVT super beetle

  Thanks

Most parts stores and/or hardware stores whould be able to help you with this.  If you don't have the taps, they could get you that also.

I thinking it will have to be ordered as VW are of a 1.25 pitch the bolt for the back seatbelts measures OD 10.81mm. Which I have two sets of at this time

I have a set of meteric taps and dies a 10mm tap OD measures 10.09mm and the 11mm I have is a 1.50 pitch at an OD of 11.17mm , Thinking you will have to order a 11MM at a 1.25 pitch...? Let me know what it really is..........

Run down a MAC tool truck or a Snap-On thinking they may have it
on board and they like cash sales.............
