Hello,
What sort of shape is the chassis in?
I'm looking for a donor car for a 356 kitcar project.
Cheers,
Jim.

Rusty to say the least, can send pictures. No motor. Has trans though. Last plate Reg. '96. Condition unknown, bought it for the motor. Been hit hard drivers rear fender, spun around and hit likewise on other side. Reupholstered buckets look good. Aftermarket chrome rims, two could clean up, look straight, one is pitted bad, other was slammed hard. Not much else left, but willing to take and send pics to those interested. Thanks....

Very rusty, you would have to be the original owner, owned one and miss it, love the car, something along that line. To put forth an effort to even use the pan for a project. Rusty, from years in Ohio. Rear hit pretty hard and whatever did it, knocked the rear of it real bad, bending the drivers side trans axle + mount, proceeded underneath, best we can tell, spun it around to hit the other side too. Best thing to do for your project, would be go to the events page, see what's going on near you, attend it. Chat with owners etc. to see if you could "network" yourself a pan. Sometimes if there is also a swap meet with it there is sometimes a guy selling a rolling pan. OR, if you are near, or ever near, Valdosta Ga. There is VW's galore there. Venture to SEVWC.com and see what they have on their classifieds too. But there used to be a Junkyard on Cat Creek Rd. near Moody A.F.B that was chock full of VW's.........Hope any of this helps.....
