The Chrome Door Handle Sleeve is pictured here.  I promise I will post new photos off all the accessories soon.  Been busy with the holidays work etc.  I have chrome cap pullers in the jack ports on both sides.

Hi loren,
I see the chromed window winder handle
with wooden knob...
the armrest with chromed strip...
the door latch...  for opening the door..

if its the chromed door latch surround...
the 1968 beetle had them....

I think the later ones were plastic [black?]

Blue lights on licence plates etc....

For some unknown reason [to Me]
all new trucks and trailers [tractor-trailers USA]
have blue LED licence plate lamps...
Now I thought they would be illegal...
but all new trucks [for past year or so]
have them....

I haven't seen any on cars as yet...

Looking Great Loren...

I have stainless steel sleeves on My wheel valves and aluminium
hexagonal valve caps..

I also have bought some valve caps with a nice blue VW on top of them
they are also locking...
and come with a small allen key..
I haven't put those on as yet...

I notice you don't have the alumium trim on the engine lid vents
or on the vents below the rear window..

many of the items you have, I've never seen before...
great collecting...

cheers

I have looked at the vent trim and don't like the flimsy aluminum look to it.  On the other hand I love the chrome pieces that you can get for the Ghias vents and up to the 1971 Super.  They never made it for any ones newer than 1971.

You do know that clicking on the photo makes it bigger?  Although the one showing the whole car seems a little small. Maybe I should up load a bigger one?

That looks awesome. I am in awe. That and your pics of AZ make me miss home. But I'll be there in 20 days.

I bought a brand new NOS engine lid aluminium trim..

and there isn't much to it..

I haven't decided how I'm going to hold them on yet..
maybe double sided tape?

thats how I have held my VW Automatic badge on..
I bought the clips to hold it on but thought
if anyone wants to try to steal the badge

it may come off better than if i had the clips underneath..
which could damage the paintwork or engine lid...

Loren,
I lived in Chandler for years with my 73 super, before recently moving up here to Vancouver, WA and the cops in the are I lived in didn't take too kindly to having ANY blue lights, front or back on my car! It could be the 2.5%VLT tint on all my windows that tipped them off, but I'd be careful especially after putting the windshield washer nozzle light on.

Cool bug though, man!

Just an update on this.  So far...knock on wood...no problems with the police on this.  It may just be luck.  I don't drive it much at night and they are small blue lights, but noticeable.  I really like them so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I tell myself if I have to I can jerry-rig an on off toggle switch.  Although, that would be a pain in rump to do.
